Gamao Elementary School
Promoting holistic development and lifelong learning.
Our Roots
Established in 1978 with a single Grade I class at the barangay social hall, led by our pioneer teacher, Mr. Patrocinio Cagampang.
Brief History
Gamao Elementary School was established in 1978. In its infancy, the school operated out of a barangay social hall with Mr. Patrocinio Cagampang serving as the foundational educator. Over the following years, the school expanded its reach, gradually introducing additional grade levels to meet the community's needs.
The School Year 1986–1987 marked a significant turning point under the leadership of Mrs. Francisca Auguis. With the steadfast support of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), the school's physical footprint began to grow, starting with a one-room building that served the kindergarten learners.
Current Leadership & Faculty

By 1995, the construction of the two-room Bagong Lipunan building accommodated a rapidly growing pupil population. This growth was fueled by a unique partnership between the school and the barangay, which funded volunteer teachers to ensure no student was left behind.
